YWG have got some exciting plans ahead!

YWG groupThe Young Women’s Group is a dedicated space for young lesbian and bisexual women, from Manchester and beyond, aged 13-24 and we have some great plans lined up over the next few months. Whether you’re interested in campaigning, arts, poetry, history, discussions, the outdoors, games and other great things there is lots to get involved with through the YWG and our monthly summits.

Date     What’ll you get to enjoy
Sat 25th October – 11-3pm Discussions and interactive activities about campaigning, young women’s experience of and likes and dislikes of social media. You’ll  find out how to get involved in a big and brilliant event led by young women in March 2015. We also have our annual general meeting (AGM) which is a great opportunity to find out more about what we’ve been up to and be part of the young women’s groups future!
Sat 22nd November – 11-3pm Manchester  has a very rich history and there is so much to explore and women have always been a major and important part of it. This session involves an engaging guided tour around Manchester city centre exploring the theme of ‘Women you didn’t know about’. Afterwards we’ll come back to the LGBT centre, have some lunch, and chat about everything we’ve taken in from the session.
Sat 13th December – 1-5pm Our joint project festive party. The young women’s group is a project of LGBT Youth North West and on this Saturday all the groups will be coming together to have lots of festive fun.
